The Tornadoes would score 8 unanswered goals before Omaha would steal the shutout with seconds left in the game on a foul that would lead to an awarded shoot out. Jonah Garbin would be the only player from Omaha to score against the Tornadoes in front of a packed house of Tornadoe FC fans! Six different Tornadoe players would score on saturday night. Rookie Andrew De La Paz would score a pair of goals as would veteran player Oscar Pando. Kaspar Kokis, Jordan Tatum, Jose Bejarano, and Mitch Sowerby would all score one a piece. There were also 2 assist from Jorge Perez and one from Oscar Perez. Rookie Goalie Erwin Navaez would earn his first start of the season and would keep the opponent out of the net for most of the night. “The guys did awesome tonight, they really wanted to get on top for a change and control the tempo of the game”, commented Co-Owner and Interim coach Carmelo Scalone.
